Nantucket Maternity

This lovely lady and her husband (and Boxer dog) are expecting very soon. Wanting to capture her at this gorgeous time in her life, we made plans to do a beach shoot. Nantucket's weather did not exactly cooperate but we made lemonade. Beach light on Nantucket is beautiful anyday.

We played a bit in the fog and raindrops  with some outrageously beautiful warmth provided by Isobel and Cleo. Designer Charlotte Hess provided our lovely mom to be with this gorgeous handknit cashmere sweater coat for our shoot. Flowers provided by Betsey Brooks.
Mrs S, I can't wait to meet this very lucky baby.

Brant Point Birthday

Tripp celebrated his first birthday in many ways with his wonderful family, but we managed to squeeze in a little photoshoot as well. He brought along his big sister, Olive, who is TRULY the sweetest lab ever. She is so watchful and protective over her entire family, but especially her little buddy, Tripp.

Had a fantastic afternoon shooting images for Barber Brothers Furniture with The Nantucket BlACKbook a few weeks ago.
I am a huge fan of their gorgeous work; their attention to detail is extraordinary.
Mixed a bit of Nantucket fashion with hard edges and sawdust....I think it worked well!

Hillary and Mike

These two. Adorable. So fun. So committed to each other and their children.
We did a combination engagement session and family session (to be posted next week) and although it was a bit chilly, their sunny smiles and love for each other overcame that quickly.
Congratulations to you both, and thank you for a wonderful afternoon with you all.
I am so looking forward to what will undoubtedly be a spectacular wedding next September.
