Garden beauty

I so love taking advantage of our incredible Nantucket landscapes when I plan a photo session.
This is particularly true for our special island beauty portraits. So many gardens, so much beachfront, so little time.

We photographed  Mrs R in a great garden; she looks amazing in her vintage yellow lace dress.
No need for fancy on Nantucket. Natural, beautiful, easygoing.

Many of you have followed along and have recognized the extraordinary talent of one of Nantucket's finest makeup artists, Yolanda Fernandez Grant of YG Makeup.
Yolanda has been making our clients feel, well- extraordinary! It seemed only fitting that I give a shout out to her and thank her on our blog for her talent, her attention to detail, and her never ending ability to make everyone around her feel welcome and very well cared for.
I love that when a portrait client calls or emails for a session, the quesion "will Yolanda be available?" ensues. So awesome.
